flux/S 3 SQUARE ONE

flux/S 3 – SQUARE ONE is going to play outside and everyone is invited to join in or to come and watch! In response to the current developments at Strijp-S, the third edition of the arts festival, flux/S 3 – SQUARE ONE, will be turning the public space at Strijp-S into its playground and extending an invitation for its collective ‘organisation’. What is the meaning of public space within a city? How do we create the ideal place for people to meet, connect and exchange views?

On September 3rd and 4th, we will kick off with an ambitiously proportioned Prelude, including art projects by, among others, Roel Wouters and Merlijn Twaalfhoven, during which we will invite and mobilise the public to come and participate – claim your own piece of public space at Strijp-S! Prelude will lay the foundations for our four-day Festival, which will take place from 25th to 28th of May, 2012.
